ubuntu 20.04 chrome keyling password

아래 방법으로도 해결이 되지 않아 다음 방법을 시도했다.

~/.local/share/ 에 보면 keylings 라는 폴더가 있다. 이 폴더를 지우거나 이름을 변경하고 나서 로그아웃 한다. 그리고 다시 로그인 하면 해당 폴더가 다시 생성되어 있다. 하지만 그 후 크롬을 실행해도 묻는 창이 다시 나타나지 않는다. 이것만 단독으로 실행해도 되는 것 같은데 아래 방법을 하고 나서 해야 하는 것인지는 모르겠다. 아뭏든 해결~.

open terminal either via Ctrl+Alt+T for by searching for ‘terminal’ from application launcher. When it opens, run command:

sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/google-chrome.desktop

chrome-desktop
The command opens the launcher file for Google Chrome. All you need is to find out the line starts with Exec and add　parameter to the value:

--password-store=basic

Save the file and done!

In addition, if you have any other Chrome app installed, their ‘.desktop’ files should also be in ‘~/.local/share/applications’ (press Ctrl+H in file browser to view hidden folders), edit them accordingly.
